MAISON ANDONI LIKE TEXTURE
William Andoni was born in Alsace, France, into a Franco-Italian family. From early on, he displayed a rare ambition: to become a chef-artist. At 14, he began his journey in a starred restaurant, driven by the desire to transform every dish into a work of culinary art.
His path is marked by an insatiable curiosity and lofty goals. Over the years, he earned two degrees and entered a prestigious competition, then chose to leave his region at 18 to join the industry’s elite. He joined the kitchens of Paul Bocuse, a three-Michelin-star restaurant, a place where only the best talents in French gastronomy work. This experience forged his pursuit of excellence and grandeur.
Fueled by dreams, William continued his journey across Europe, traveling through Switzerland and beyond, before returning to Alsace. He worked in a starred restaurant and cooked for celebrities, while embracing new influences. His ambition pushed him further: to become a pastry chef certified to refine his skills to reach excellence.
In 2020, William left France to pursue his American dream. His arrival was marked by a dark period: the Covid-19 pandemic emerged shortly after his arrival, turning his dream into a colossal obstacle. Despite the trials, he established himself as a pastry chef and consultant for one of Connecticut’s best restaurants, having the honor of cooking for renowned personalities.
This dual life of chef and artist led him to reinvent his creative expression. William turned to painting, becoming an artist, exhibiting his work, and selling his canvases, thus embarking on a new adventure. His motto resonates as a mantra: “Never limit your challenges; challenge your limits.” His determination and resilience prove unwavering.
In 2023, love entered his life, and he decided to embark on a road trip to California, away from the beaten path. A polyglot (speaking five languages), he composes at the piano, practices photography in his spare time, and maintains an open view of the world. Creative, imaginative, and perfectionist, his greatest obstacle is himself—and he surpasses it.
Today, William has founded Maison Andoni, a brand that fuses his paintings with the world of fashion and haute couture. Through his works and collections, he expresses his art and his universe on clothing, elevated by unique personalities. His life is an unlimited adventure where culinary art and visual art converge to create a singular and inspiring expression.
